For the occasion, Givenchy’s creative director Ricardo Tisci and his Serbian artist friend Marina Abramovic, famous for her experimental shows, imagined a performance designed as a hymn to life, love and diversity.

In an open-air venue on the Hudson River, made from recycled timber and sheet metal, with the Freedom Tower in the background, the guests were treated to a spectacular show of pure poetry, punctuated by singing from different cultures and religions.
