Raphaël Barontini
Le Studio des Acacias by Mazarine welcomes "Soukhos" exhibition by Raphaël Barontini, to present the result of his LVMH Métiers d’Art residency.

French artist Raphaël Barontini presents his work, result of his LVMH Métiers d’Art residency, in partnership with Reiffers Art Initiatives and with the support of Mariane Ibrahim Gallery.

Raphaël Barontini is a 36 years old visual artist graduated from the Beaux-Arts of Paris and from the Hunter College of Art of New York. His work of « creolization of pictures » has been exhibited by numerous museums and galeries throughout the world, especially through remarkable performances in the USA, in Savannah, Fort Worth, or very recently in Chicago.

In his protean work, the artist constantly questions art-craft relationships, west-east, dreamlike-political. In 2020, he is selected by LVMH Métiers d’Art for an artistic residency at the heart of the Heng Long tannery, in Singapore, renowned for its exceptional expertise in tanning and finishing of crocodilian leather.

All the works produced as well as several representative pieces of the artist's work are presented at Studio des Acacias, in partnership with Reiffers Art Initiatives and Mariane Ibrahim Gallery.
