Numéro Homme 44

For this 44th issue of Numéro Homme focused on Paris, the magazine invited 44 male figures who contribute to the city’s prestige around the world, gathering them into an exclusive portfolio. 

On the list, portraits and interviews of famous sportsmen (Neymar Jr., Kylian Mbappé, Teddy Riner…), talented fashion designers (Jean Paul Gaultier, Olivier Rousteing, Anthony Vaccarello…), exceptional actors (Tahar Rahim, Omar Sy), awarded chefs (Mory Sacko, Yannick Alléno…), major figures of the art world (Philippe Parreno, JR, Guillaume Cerutti, Kamel Mennour…), of design and architecture (Jean Nouvel, Philippe Starck) and successful businessmen (Antoine Arnault, Xavier Niel, Matthieu Pigasse…) ; as well as fashion editorials by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Dominique Issermann, Jacob Sutton, Pieter Hugo and Jackie Nickerson.                           

Also featured, pop star Kim Petras, first transgender woman to receive a Grammy Award ; South African singer Tyla, whose music intertwine amapiano and 2000’s R’n’B ; singer-songwriter and actress Rina Sawayama, who stars in John Wick - Chapter 4 ; French duo Ascendant Vierge’s flamboyant and mystical techno ; an exclusive interview with choreographer Benjamin Millepied, who will soon unveil his movie Carmen in theaters ; young comedian Fleur Geffrier, starring in series Les Gouttes de Dieu ; the Basquiat x Warhol big exhibition at Fondation Louis Vuitton ; and fashion editorials by Txema Yeste, Ben Hassett, Sofia et Mauro, Kenny Germé, Bruno+Nico Van Mossevelde and Julien Vallon.

The exhibition invites the five artists to take over the Acacias Art Center - whose new architecture will be revealed on this occasion - to display works that are almost entirely new. Artists who are not content to simply engage with the world, but who work just as hard to reconfigure it aesthetically and conceptually to propose other visions and other ways of making the world, together.
